who we are
Vision, touch, hearing and smell.
The gleam of paper, the sound of pages being turned.
Time dedicated to culture.
Food for the mind.
Thought, patience, paradise.
Delight, desire, counsel.
Home and travel.
A universal gathering.

Margherita Books&Objects believes in the art of narration, in the dissemination of culture, in the Italian “well-made”. Because we need to know, to feel, to buy beautiful, slow, immersive things, full of meaning.
founder
Margherita Tizzi, a journalist and art historian, was born in Sansepolcro. She inherited her passion for art and creativity from her father, a painter. Her love of journalism and writing is innate. She graduated from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan with a degree in Media Languages and Art History. In 2010, she published the book “Piero e Sansepolcro: il caso della Natività” (Piero and Sansepolcro: the case of the Nativity), which reconstructs the artistic and iconographic history of Piero della Francesca’s painting, housed in the National Gallery in London. Following extensive experience working in the offices of leading Italian publications, including Harper’s Bazaar Italia, Vogue Italia, Marie Claire Italia, Amica, d La Repubblica, Donna Moderna and Il Giornale, she founded her own independent publishing house, specialising in collectable magazines and books and brand journalism services.
